Which means it's time to count blessings again!

Have I mentioned that our little acreage includes a pond?
Our little acreage includes a pond. And I love it.
The beautiful weather this week made walks down to the pond a daily occurrence.

We made a trip back to our hometown on Sunday- we picked up some of Trevor's childhood toys, visited with my parents, and got to see these two new faces:
Trevor's parents added to the "herd" with two sweet horses.
One of them is named Red.
I have no idea which one.
But they're patient with my incessant picture taking, so I think I'm gonna like them.

Looking on as I take pictures of the horses... not to be outdone...
"Look! We're standing here nicely, too! Aren't you going to take a picture of us?"

I got a few flower seeds sown in some pots around our little acreage this week- no pictures, because it's just dirt at this point!

This week, I've been listening to Christian radio at work, and the sermons! Oh the sermons! I just love hearing the Word of God throughout the day.
Also, thanks for the pants, KK.

I love it that my sisters are short. Because then I can wear their hand-me-down jeans without hemming them.
(Because otherwise, I have to hem everything).

I am being so deeply blessed by my small group gals- we've only met two times this session, but gosh. Both have been so good. I'm so glad to be walking life with these ladies.

Bear has been loving this beautiful weather, too-- we've gone for lots of walks (and also a rather unsuccessful bike ride... gravel is difficult...). His favorite walks are the ones that take us down to the pond.
Because he likes to drink pond water much more than the water I lovely lug outside to his bowl... and also because he likes getting his front paws all muddy.

THIS WEEK
Whoo boy!
This has been a busy week, both at home, at work, and on blog. (On blog? Is that a thing?)

On the blog this week...
I spent a little time looking at the importance of reading the Bible in "God Still Speaks."

I also changed up a bunch of e-mail thingies (very technical) and put out a free e-book (hurray!) I hope it will really, really encourage all the people who will download it. (You can get it, too-- click here.)
Annnd, I just found out today that one of my posts was featured-- "Half-Truth Prince" was featured as part of the Grace and Truth linkup.

Busy, right? And also so, so blessed.
Have a wonderful weekend- and count those blessings!

Sounds like quite a week! The horse pictures are so nice. One of my best friends used to go horse back riding all the time and took me before.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great week! You can't help but be thankful with the weather we've had here lately! That is wonderful that you have a great support network found through your small group. I would love to find a small group of ladies that understand and get me. But I am at least thankful to have some friends that always send me emails or books that they find inspiring.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great week and fun. We used to have a horse that looked just like those guys and his name was Max.
