Counting my blessings helps me change the narrative in my mind from "I don't have enough" to "Look at what God has given me."
It fosters contentment even in circumstances that don't seem full enough.
And it makes a difference in my heart.

Wind and foggy sort of snow made for a white ride home.

The water left in Bear's water bowl freezes over night, and every morning I dump out a little brick of ice. We have so many of these ice pucks we could probably build an igloo.

After a few days of cloudy, foggy weather, we finally got a sunny day toward the middle of the week. It announced its arrival with a gorgeous sunrise.

We celebrated one month of having Bear- and he got the best gift of all- a nice bone to chew on.

Gorgeous sunset for sure!!! Hey, I'll bet you could create an igloo with the bowl ice - maybe I'll try that next winter, but I wish I could figure out how to use the ice from the horse trough!! Beautiful deer - you live in such a beautiful area. Blessed indeed!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you!
DeleteAnd yes, my husband suggested an igloo with the ice! We'll see about that... ;)

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by, Lowanda!
DeleteI love the smiling coffee cup!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunset!
I'm glad you got some sun. Do you often have deer pass through? The mug cap is very funny, and you're right - see it once, and it's always there after that. (visiting from {p,h,f,r})
ReplyDeleteThe deer pass through almost daily- we know their family groups, we see them so often!
