Because counting the blessings leads to contentment, and being thankful makes every day a miracle.

Our week began with visiting with some friends and their little ones- hanging out at their camper and showing them our new house!
... ... ... ...
Registration check-in for the first week of camp: it went very smoothly, and this is a great group of kids!
... ... ... ...
A "motorcycle gang" who came to visit Sunday and got a quick camp tour
... ... ... ...
Evenings of wall-washing and pulling weeds
... ... ... ...
The little rabbit who loves my hostas
... ... ... ...
Hardwood floors like hidden treasure
... ... ... ...
Measuring roofs and doing it afraid. I don't like heights. (And I had to climb a ladder to get up there.) But I did it.
... ... ... ...
A patient husband who says I can do it even when my knees tremble.

Two dear friends with good news
... ... ... ...
An extra "spring" in Trevor's step! (I can't help myself. He walked around Menards with me for an hour and neither of us noticed the piece of metal sticking out of his shoe until we got home!
... ... ... ...
And just in case you missed it- on the blog this week...
We started out our summer series (!!!) about the fruit of the Spirit with a little introduction post--

We started out our summer series (!!!) about the fruit of the Spirit with a little introduction post--
In Season: Finding the Fruit
I’m in a season right now. A season when fruit seems hard to come by. I often feel unproductive- like my spiritual legacy is stunted somehow.. It’s barren time- or it certainly seems that way.
And I also shared a little bit about how loving my body means making sure that my body doesn't become my identity over at The World Around Her with this post---
And, just in case that wasn't enough stuff going on, I've also created a whole new Pinterest page for the In Season Series-- you can check it out here. I'll be putting up all the posts in the series on this board, so you can follow along without missing any!
I'm blessed to see what's going on in the "back end" of the series, and can I just say? There's some powerful stuff that this great group of writers will be sharing. Powerful stuff. You don't want to miss it.
Have a great weekend!
